This drawing shows the cross section through the central gallery, living room and east facing balcony. Light comes from centrally located clerestory windows above the gallery space. The clerestory's broad overhanging roof helps create diffuse reflected light in the space and prevents direct sunlight from entering the room and damaging the artwork.
This 3D section drawing is cut along the entry bridge and through the central gallery space. Artwork will be displayed in the central gallery with controlled, diffuse daylight coming from the clerestory above.
