Chroma Zone

This LRT station canopy uses Vanceva Color PVB laminated glass panels that reflect bright colors onto surfaces below, graduating from Purple Line deep purple through University of Maryland red and gold to clear glass. The deeper red panels are positioned where trains stop, creating subtle wayfinding through color, while the reflected field constantly changes with sun and sky conditions, transforming the structure into a dynamic projector that appears as a colorful array when lit at night.
